This Diploma provides candidates with a broad range of knowledge, understanding and skills training to become qualified within wall and floor tiling. The qualification is aimed at students wishing to join the construction industry as tilers.

In order to enrol for this qualification, candidates should be interested in wall and floor tiling and pursuing a career within the construction industry.

How is the course taught?

The course has been specifically developed for delivery in a training environment using simulated conditions and is mainly workshop based. This is supported by practical and theory session where learners are required to complete assignments to demonstrate their skills within the units.

How is the course assessed?

Assessments of candidates will be continually made by their course tutor.

One year.

Progression/Career opportunities

Completion of this qualification provides learners with progression opportunities to the Level 2 Diploma in Wall and Floor Tiling and also provides a progression route towards further qualifications.
